HISTORY
Our Story Through the Years
1997
The Beginning
HMH Gulamali is founded as a trading company in Dodoma, Tanzania. The company initially focuses on trading essential commodities, quickly establishing a reputation for reliability and quality.
2000
Expansion into Product Distribution
HMH Gulamali expands its operations to include the distribution of branded commodities, such as sugar, cooking oil, wheat flour, detergent soaps, and cement. The company becomes the official distributor for several major brands in Tanzania.
2005
Diversification into Goods Transportation
The company enters the transportation sector, launching Salman’s Transport Co. Ltd. This subsidiary becomes known for its reliability and on-time delivery, serving clients across Tanzania with a fleet of well-maintained trucks.
2010
Launch of Mattress Manufacturing
HMH Gulamali Group further diversifies by establishing Modern Mattress Manufacturing Ltd. in Dodoma. The company becomes the region’s only producer of high-quality foam mattresses, known for comfort and durability.
2015
Expansion into Petroleum Services
The group ventures into the petroleum sector with the establishment of Ahlulbayt Petroleum (T) Ltd. This subsidiary handles bulk fuel importation and distribution, operating its own filling stations in Kibaha and Dodoma.
